Born and raised in the Northeast, Cynthia began her creative journey with aspirations of becoming a fashion designer. She studied at New York City’s prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology before expanding her passions to include Art History and Interior Design—pursuits that took her westward. Her lifelong wanderlust has since inspired global travels and a rich tapestry of experiences, with homes in some of the most captivating corners of the U.S., including Newport Beach, Maui, Aspen, New Orleans, St. John in the Virgin Islands, and Westport, Connecticut. But it was San Miguel de Allende, the soulful and magical UNESCO World Heritage city in Mexico, that finally captured her heart and became her true home.

Cynthia’s professional path began in the art world, culminating in a career-defining collaboration with Kamil, a renowned gallerist from Monte Carlo. There, she worked alongside some of Europe’s leading avant-garde artists. She later transitioned into luxury retail, managing and representing brands such as Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller, Fred Leighton—the celebrated Madison Avenue jeweler to the stars—and launching her own ventures: “Paris Underground Antiques” in Aspen, and “What Modern Was,” a mid-century design boutique in New Orleans.

With over four decades of experience in high-end sales and a deep appreciation for architecture and design, real estate became a natural next chapter. Cynthia found her calling as a luxury real estate agent in Aspen, a role that offered both professional fulfillment and the freedom to continue traveling and writing.

For the past thirteen years, she has called San Miguel de Allende home, sharing her life with two rescued cats and maintaining a strong commitment to animal welfare.

Cynthia’s life took another turn toward magic when she met the love of her life, Nick Heath—serendipitously during a showing at a property aptly named Mi Besito. It was, fittingly, a real estate love story.

To meet Cynthia—known affectionately as “CiCi” by friends—is to feel an instant connection. Clients often remark that it feels less like a first meeting and more like a reunion with an old friend. Whether guiding clients through the complexities of international relocation, advising sellers on staging and marketing strategies, or negotiating deals—from charming pied-à-terres to the largest private residential transaction in San Miguel’s history—Cynthia brings nearly 20 years of real estate expertise, along with deep reserves of passion, energy, and insight.

Together with her husband Nick—whose background in marketing and the music industry adds another layer of experience and vision—they form a dynamic, trusted, and truly global team. Their combined talents offer clients a uniquely elevated and personalized real estate experience in San Miguel and beyond.
